I'm Breanna Dixon, a senior biology major at Winston Salem State University. My reason for making this website is to give others insight to the importance of the topics I learned in my Cancer Biology course. Throughout this course, I have learned a lot of in-depth details about cancer that I never knew prior to this course. Learning these key elements helped gain a foundation in the cell and molecular biology of cancer, increased my interest for new discoveries in cancer, and guide me to make the right life choices that would decrease my cancer risk. Please read more to learn more about my journey through Cancer Biology!

MY LATEST RESEARCH

There has been a recent study on how US-Africans who have changed their diet to a high-fiber diet see a tremendous decrease in the risk of having cancer. For more information, click the link below.

For the first time, researchers have used national data to determine the incidence of the four major molecular subtypes of breast cancer by age, race/ethnicity, poverty level, and several other factors. For moreinformation, click below.
